Book this today! Hands-down, the most fun and educational thing my friend and I did while we were in Charleston. I was amazed at the Badass Broads and all they did in the area and the fact that I had never heard of most of them before. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and Charleston. Well worth the fee and a great way to spend two hours in the city.

A-Z what you want to know about Charleston We booked this tour on the recommendation of our concierge and were treated to more than 2 hours of insights, stories, and facts about Charleston. We would recommend Jonathan for his enthusiasm and ability to explain the intertwined history of this lovely city with the growth of America.

This was the best tour! My husband and I learned so much and saw a lot! We went on such cool short cuts and heard so many stories from Charleston history. Jonathan was so funny and entertaining as we walked around the city. It was not a hard walk and we stopped at places where you could sit and take a break. He’s the nicest guy and took some pictures of us as we walked. 100% recommend! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely fantastic. I went on the Badass Broads tour, and it was incredibly badass. I learned SO MUCH, and John is very passionate about this tour which resonated with me, and elevated the tour. This is one of my favorite tours I have ever gone on! I cannot recommend it enough!

Took the “Badass Broads” tour and had a great time!! Jonathan is an amazing and passionate story teller. The tour was full of interesting and engaging stories woven into general overall Charleston history, and the time flew by! I loved that Jonathan didn’t shy away from some of the tougher topics of Charleston’s history like slavery and the civil rights movement but instead highlighted them in a respectful and meaningful way. It was about 90 degrees and we had a pregnant member of our group, and Jonathan was so great at finding us plenty of shade, places to sit if needed, and continually checked on how we were doing. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

For guys girls! This was SUCH a fun and unique tour! Jonathan gave us a good history of Charleston while integrating the stories of some amazing women who played significant parts in that history. This is a great tour for both men and women! Highly recommend!

Chicora Tour Great tour to understand the history of Charleston and see most of the key landmarks. We only had 4 on our tour so it was easy to hear the guide and ask questions. Jonathon was very knowledgeable and passionate about Charleston. Highly recommend.

I had been on the walking tour with Jonathan before, but my adult son was with me on this trip, and he also enjoyed it. History tour Great tour. Jonathan is very knowledgeable. We have taken 2 tours with him and my wife and I enjoyed both. This tour is different from any of the other tours we have taken.

Excellent tour! Jonathan does more than just dole out facts about the city. His passion for his city is evident as he weaves a story about Charleston using its history, culture, and character. He is very engaging, encouraging an interactive experience. He is also very respectful of the city and its residents. There are several tour options for Charleston, but I highly recommend choosing this one.

A MUST do if you're visiting Charleston or even a local. As a South Carolina native, I learned so much within the two hour tour I had. Jonathan is very passionate about the history here in the low country and emphasizes the points that make our history here in Charleston unique but also very twisted at times. He doesn't skip a beat in humor as well. The difference between Jonathan's walking tour in comparison to others is that he has crafted something very distinctive that you can find no where else in Charleston.
