Great thing to do with kids! Amazing experience! As a family that has lived in Charleston for a long time, we noticed that this tour was for kids and thought we would shake things up by being tourists in our own town! Highly recommend! We were lucky to choose Jwalk for our walking tour. Jonathan is knowledgeable and friendly and the two hours flew by. He hit all the stops on the itinerary. We learned quite a bit and it was better than if we walked around on our own and tried to research and read plaques.

This tour is worth the time and money. Jonathan did a stellar job telling interesting and touching stories of Bad Ass Broads of Charleston. We have spent quite a few days touring Downtown Charleston, and this tour gave us history that helped us connect other historic facts we've heard. Learning about the men and women of Historic Charleston has been a fascinating plus to our lovely trip. I would highly recommend booking this tour and learn about these Bad Ass Broads.

Great Tour for the History Buff Such an amazing tour! I went with a Bachelorette Party. Now warning, the tour talks about very serious issues. But if you love history and have a group of feminists it's perfect for you. He gives a great mix of general Charleston history with emphasis on some really some amazing women. I would do it again!

Strong Women of Charleston What an amazing tour! I was the only participant, but Johnathan Green did not cancel. Thank you, Johnathan. I learned so much about the strong women of Charleston who helped shape the city's history. Johnathan had a wealth of knowledge about the formation of "Charles Town," Gullah-Geechee culture, historical buildings, and the spirit of Charleston.

We had a private tour and it was everything we hoped for! John is a fantastic storyteller who blends deep historical context with the fascinating lives of Charleston’s most amazing women. The walk itself is stunning and very manageable.

You can really feel John’s passion for these stories—he’s so engaging and was happy to answer all our questions. Plus, the check-in process was a breeze (and they make sure you have a restroom break before the 2-hour tour starts).

The Real History It was very in depth and so interesting. We learned much more than on other tours and got a real feel for the spirit of Charleston.

My 11 year old daughter and I had the opportunity to take Jonathan's Badass Broads tour this weekend. As a well-traveled kid who has been on many tours, my daughter declared this the best tour she's ever been on—and I couldn't agree more.

Book this today! Hands-down, the most fun and educational thing my friend and I did while we were in Charleston. I was amazed at the Badass Broads and all they did in the area and the fact that I had never heard of most of them before. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and Charleston. Well worth the fee and a great way to spend two hours in the city.

This was the best tour! My husband and I learned so much and saw a lot! We went on such cool short cuts and heard so many stories from Charleston history. Jonathan was so funny and entertaining as we walked around the city. It was not a hard walk and we stopped at places where you could sit and take a break. He’s the nicest guy and took some pictures of us as we walked. 100% recommend! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely fantastic. I went on the Badass Broads tour, and it was incredibly badass. I learned SO MUCH, and John is very passionate about this tour which resonated with me, and elevated the tour. This is one of my favorite tours I have ever gone on! I cannot recommend it enough!
