WELL WORTH YOUR TIME!!!!! Jonathan's wealth of knowledge of the history of Charleston is second to none! He's a great story-teller (of all truths, I'm sure) and he made the whole walk enjoyable, entertaining, and most of all informative! He's obviously passionate about Charleston history and shared the good (and some bad) about the past here. I now know so much more about this city I've recently decided to make my home!!

Must do if you have limited time to explore the city What a great informative tour! I am so happy that I was able to fit this into a busy family wedding weekend, because there was just so much history, and passion about the Charleston women who had a great effect on our country’s future, packed into two hours.

100% Worth Your Time! Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the city and did a great job sharing it all. There were stories that he told that still have me pondering and investigating even more. Engaging with Charleston’s history through its buildings Thank you to Jonathan for providing an interesting overview of the history of the city. The time flew by on this tour. Jonathan spoke clearly, with animation and enthusiasm for his subject. He pointed out the fascinating architectural details of the buildings we visited, as well as relating their history and some humorous stories where appropriate. What an amazing amount of knowledge John has to share . This tour was excellent I would do it over again in a heartbeat. I wish I brought a pad and pen to take notes on some of the names, places, and dates to further research . He has a passion for Charlestons rich and lengthy history. I highly recommend a tour . Best tour in Charleston!!! JWalkTours was an incredible experience! This was our first visit to Charleston and the best thing we did was take the morning tour on our first day. Jon is SO knowledgeable about all details of Charleston and surrounding areas, the tour was fascinating. We walked through the city and learned so much more than expected! The history is honest and impressive. We talked about the information we learned all weekend. We will definitely be visiting again and sign up for more JWalk tours! AND we are so excited for the youtube channel to launch so we can continue learning more about the beautiful city.

Jonathan's Chicora Tour This was by far the most interesting and informative walking tour we have been on in Charleston. Accurate information! And not super coated like some of the other tours we have been on. If we had the time we would have definitely done the other tour.

A gem of a tour!! Jonathan was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable! My adult daughter and I had a blast on the Bad Ass Broads of Charleston tour. I would take the tour again!

A Great Experience We did the Bad Ass Women tour this afternoon with Jonathon. It was a perfect way to see and learn about Charleston. So much information about the history of both Charleston and the South that was enthralling especially to us Australians. Getting the detail about the intertwining events and the people behind them made this tour memorable. All so well explained by Jonathon who is clearly passionate as well as knowledgable about the history of the area.

Best Walking Tour in Charleston Jonathan was a fantastic tour guide. Knowledgeable, Informative, easy to understand and passionate about Charleston. The Badass Broads tour was definitely 5 star and highly recommended.

I’ve taken a lot of tours in my 45 years of visiting Charleston, but this was THE BEST!! Johnathan is personally invested in the people and history of Charleston and it shines through in his historical tours. I learned many new things about this beautiful city and heard fascinating stories about its people. He does extensive research to ensure accuracy and finds interesting pieces of Charleston history I’ve never heard anywhere else. Go ahead and do a carriage tour to get briefly acquainted with Charleston, but follow it up with a tour from Johnathan for “the rest of the story”, you’ll be so glad you did.

SO GOOD! This tour was hands down top one or two best Torres for me!
